PURANDAR – VAJRAGAD FORT

Activity:  Trek (Moderate).
Date:  August 31^st 2011, Wednesday.

Destination:  Purandar  Fort to Vajragad Fort (Pune).

Trek Expenses:  Rs.400 Only.
Fascinating must watch spots on Trek:

Purandareshwar Temple, Delhi Darwaja, Khandakada, Kedareshwar, Bini Darwaja, Rameshwar temple, Purandar Machi, Statue of Murarbaji Deshpande, Bhairav khind, Padmavati Lake, Shendrya Bastion.

Getting your gradients right:

*Report at Swargate ST Bus depot by 5.00am sharp on 31^st August 2011.

*Interested Trekkers from Mumbai can reach Pune  by Mumbai-Pandharpur Passesnger from CST at 22.40 HRS (30^th August) which arrives Pune Station at 04.00 HRS (31^st August) approximately.

*Travel to the base village of the fort by Private vehicle.

*Trekker must carry water bottles along with First aid kit and personal medications.

06.30 am: Breakfast at the base village.

07.00am:  Start ascending the Purandar Fort.

09.30am:  Reach at top of the fort and fort exploration.

12.30pm: Have much needed Lunch.

01.30pm: Move towards Vajragad Fort.

02.30pm: At top of the fort and fort exploration.

05.30pm: Reach back to the base village.

07.00pm: Reach Swargate ST Bus Stand via Private vehicle where Trek Ends.

Trek Expenses Includes:

*Travel via Private Transport to and fro Swargate-Purandar.

*Breakfast and Lunch.

(Expense excludes soft drinks, mineral water and any form of personal expenditure).

Rules and Regulations:

*The Organizers of the trek behold the complete rights to modify the trek in occurrence of the situation.

*Interested trekkers are expected to register well in advance.   

*Any individual should carry or wear valuables at his/her own risk.

*No refund of the trek fee will be made in any circumstances once registration is attained.
